In limbo
Stretched across the black,
Bottomless canyon.
Oh God! What if I fall?
Childhood is a silent time
When the world
Is new and green
And a kitten's heartbeat
Is the magic of life.
In the fury of
Battle
Tears well up to glisten in
My eyes
"Why can't you act like
An adult?!" cuts through the air.
Sorry,
We need someone
With experience.
Crystal snowflakes
Burn and freeze.
It is so hard to embrace
The past
While reaching to hold on
To cling to my dreams.
I hope I never consider
Myself "grown-up."

My life is in limbo
As I wait for something to happen.
In truth, nothing will happen unless I make something happen. My destiny may be planned for me but if I do nothing to make my dreams come true, then my destiny will never happen.
Taking that first step into the unknown,
Taking that leap of faith,
Knowing someone, anyone, will be there to catch me if I fall.
If I do not take that step into the great unknown, I will never know what could have been. What should have been. What might have been.
So as I venture out into the great unknown, I will be recording interesting, some valuable, some invaluable hopefully I can make you feel, truly feel with your heart Life, Love, and the pain, sadness, and everything in between this thing we call life.
