1. Never turn control of your life over to another person!

2. Cultivate balance in your life. Nourish your mind, body and your spirit.

3. Forgive yourself for everything you've done and didn't do. Then forgive others.

4. Love everyone... unconditionally, starting with yourself.

5. Be gentle with yourself. Set realistic goals and realize that they sometimes will be achieved in the midst of seeming failure.

6. Script your own life. Seek guidance from others but remain true to yourself.

7. Seek work which best satisfies and allows for growth.

8. Learn something everyday.

9. Treat yourself to a new experience once a month.

10. Develop the ability to bounce back quickly from life's challenges.

11. As much as possible, live in the now, not the past. Live life with a light touch.

12. Seek the company of those you love and allow yourself to be loved.

13. Re-evaluate where you are. Release things and relationships that no longer fit.

14. Take time to play. Happiness is impossible without a spirit of fun.

15. Live life by the golden rule. You can only keep what you give away.

16. Go within yourself to your "core of peace" and listen to the voice of silence.

17. Share yourself with others. Have no expectations from another person.

18. Cultivate and maintain a sense of personal identity. Lean on no one. Become a leader of self and create your own path.

19. Give a smile to every living creature you contact. Give them a positive word or remain silent.

20. Never try to change anyone except yourself.

21. Develop a sense of tolerance for every living human being.

22. Control your life with love.

23. When approaching a fork in the road of life... choose the path that has a "heart".
